Sachin Tendulkar: Danger bell lurks
First
it was back pain, which kept Sachin Tendulkar out of cricket for
several months and now it's a hairline fracture in his right foot,
which is taking its toll on India's performance. The bad news is that
it is a rare occurrence and the star batsman has no signs of
improvement. He will miss the three test series in Sri Lanka and,
according to the doctors, the injury should not be taken lightly. "What
is in store for Tendulakar?" is the question worrying his fans and
cricket pundits the most.
Says astrologer Acharya
Vasudev, "Tendulkar's bad phase began in Dec 1998 and it will continue
till Feb 2002. Though he will recover from his injury and be back in
the Indian team, consistency in his game will come only after 20th
October. There is also a possibility that he will undergo a surgery
before 20th October.
According to him, "In Sachin's horoscope, Rahu is not properly placed
and is exerting its negative influence. But it's just a matter of time.
Come Feb 2002 and Sachin will see his golden period of life. What he
has done till now is just a small fraction of his talent."
Rajeev
K. Khattar, a Lal Kitab Astrologer, after analysing Sachin's
progression chart, says that from Apr. 2001 to Apr. 2002, while on the
one hand there is Saturn-Moon combination which hinders his progress in
cricket, on the other, the aspect of Mercury and Ketu is indicating
khatre ki ghanti (danger bell) for him. He will enter a relatively good
phase only after 24th October 2001.
Suggesting ways
to break the jinx, he says, "He should bury an earthen pot filled with
honey and covered with an earthen lid in an isolated place. He should
offer a handful of rice in a pond and should not drink milk after
sunset. He should also feed milk and biscuits to the dogs. All this
will help him recover from his injury soon.
Naresh Kumar Dabboji, an astrologer, agrees with other astrologers and
is of the opinion that Sachin's unfortunate phase will remain in effect
only till 30th September. "In October he will be fit and will come
back. But because of bad ketu there is always a possibility of foot
injury. He should be very careful
about
it. Most probably after his return to cricket he will be selected as
captain of the Indian cricket team and this will mark the beginning of
his good days," says he, Jeevan Prakash Sharma
